This section contains the eleven pages that make up chapter one, "Introduction to Chemical Warfare Defense", of the Marine Corps Institute textbook "Chemical Warfare Defense", MCI 57.6c, published around 1980.
While not nominally aligned with our principal interests concerning local and regional history and other activities, this document is a quite obscure publication on a topic in which there is both much interest and much misinformation. Despite being a quarter-century old, we feel that the information contained in these pages deserves a wider audience than it may have otherwise received.
Regrettably, the copy of this textbook loaned to us contains much highlighting by it's original owner, which, while not only unsightly, has rendered our not-so-brilliant OCR software impotent. Clicking on each image will take you to the next page. Each page is 200-250KB or so.
